AG Doll Clothes By Faye

Hello Blogger Friends,

Do you still remember me?  I can't believe it is already February!  During my absent from blogging, I had been crocheting/knitting a few items but my camera is not working as good (pictures don't come out clear) so I don't have good  pictures of my craft to share.

But I just have to share this doll blue skirt and the dress.

They were made by Faye!  Aren't that impressive?  Faye learned to crochet last Summer but  she lost interest because I asked her to practice the same stitches over and over.  She thought it was boring then I told her if she found practicing the stitches is  boring then crocheting is not for her.  She stopped for a while then she started it again.  Over the weekend she told me she wanted  to crochet doll skirt.  I gave her the supplies and the instruction.  She made the blue skirt.  I thought it was pretty cute. It was crochet from side to side.  Then she wanted to crochet a dress.  I told her to use the same technique but used one row double crochet one row single crochet.  I went to work on Sunday.  When I came home, Faye surprised me with the peach dress and the hair band.   I was excited to see that she picked up quickly.

Until next time

Helen

Is Faye your daughter? I'll bet she is--because she obviously has YOUR talent. Love her work.

When you are not blogging, I know you are busy crocheting and/or knitting... Such a talented lady!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
